Spirolaterals at home
This is my spirolateral that i did during quarantine because the covid 19 i used numbers 5,6,1,8 to make this spirolateral. On this app called spirolateral explorer it is a app where you can pick any numbers you want every number has a different pattern any colours to make it look cool. You can also do it on paper you can pick 5 numbers and go down across to the left up then across to the right and then continue the pattern as many times you want and try and make it connect .

Hi Mikayla
ReplyDeleteThis is a great looking spriolateral. I like that the colours you used help you see the pattern as it repeats and those numbers have made an interesting combo of triangles and parallelograms.
I'm also very impressed with ow well you've described it so anyone can work out exactly what it's all about. Nice work Mikayla, from Miss J
Kia Ora Mikayla,
ReplyDeleteI am so impressed with how you have managed to explain your spirolateral. You have used your English and Mathematical skills in tandem. Your spirolateral visual complements your explanation. I can see what you mean when I read about the numbers used. Great work Mikayla
Hi Mikayla
ReplyDeleteI really like your spirolateral (the more you look at it the more you see). It would make a great maths problem for R7..."How many triangles and parallelograms can you see in Mikayla's spirolateral?"
Ka pai Mikayla, from Mrs Devlin.
Thankyou it would be a good test to see how good there eye sight and maths
